With spring just around the corner, farmers, gardeners and lawn care individuals are planning for this year’s planting season. You are invited to roll-up your sleeves as well and donate blood to help with the current shortage. It only takes an hour or two of your time to save someone’s life. The American Red Cross has scheduled a Bloodmobile at St. Francis Convent (St. Francis Hall), Little Falls on Tuesday, March 26, 1-7 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 12 noon – 6 p.m., and Thursday, March 28, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Anyone who is at least 16 years of age (please bring a parental consent), weighs at least 110 pounds and is considered to be in good health may be eligible to donate blood. There is no upper age limit and the time commitment is minimal. Please bring your photo identification. For more information or to make an appointment to donate blood, contact Sister Julien Dirkes at (320)632-0663.
