Michael Lyons, author of Ojiberish: An Introduction to Ojibwemowin, and the podcast Boozhoo Nanaboozhoo, comes to Little Falls on Thursday, January 27, 7:00 p.m.
Utilizing music, humor, and puppetry, Lyons teaches about Ojibwe language, history, and culture.
The Morrison County Historical Society and Great River Children's Museum are co-sponsoring this free event. The Museum will host a kid's puppet-making class beginning at 6:30 p.m. No signup is needed.
This event is underwritten in part by the Five Wings Arts Council, using funds from the Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment passed by the voters of Minnesota in 2008.
